Apparently so and I don't like it. Maybe I'll get used to him but he slept in my bed the other night! Bastard! I guess my caretakers felt that they needed another dog to balance out my behavior but why now? I have been here now for two years almost and I thought things were going well and now a new addition? WTF? (I don't know what that means but I hear them use that term a lot). Hs name is Brody and he was adopted this past Monday officially. He eats a lot, is constantly tipping over the water bowl, eats some of my food, tries to hog all of the attention and doesn't need to be tied up when outside.
What kind of example is he, Brody setting around here anyway? Monday the caretakers (along with her son and his girlfriend) took both me and the lazy one (Brody) out on a boat to see how we would get along. I didn't have much of a choice my only option either jumping overboard or knocking his lazy Lab ass over the side. Okay, so it is nice having someone to play with and sometimes it does get a little lonely until those two weird individuals that walk upright come home and play with me. All I can say is that the jury is still out (whatever that means but the two humanoids also use that expression frequently) so I'll be writing back on here to see if any other friends from the canine community have gone through similar changes.
At least he (Brody) knows I'm the boss but at seven months of age I fear he is going to outgrow me real soon. Maybe I can use him as a shield to ward off other dogs? We'll see.
